In this secondhand wardrobe, no piece exists without context. Niche aesthetics, sustainable fashion, contemporary art, and references from literature, popculture, and history are woven into its fabrics.

Style is conceptual: it is fed by the deep dives, the coincidences, the little trinkets picked up along the way. Storytelling is an essential part of creating a style identity, and august boutique attempts just that.

Blog and Community

This boutique is also a personal project allowing me to reunite my passions for style and writing, and to try my hand at creative direction. The associated Substack will be a hybrid of newsletter and blog – feel free to participate in the exchange of resources and inspiration. As an aspiring costume designer, bridging creative conceptualisation and wearability is my aim for this project.
